Today our Senior Manager Derek Perill attended the launch of Central Pharma in Tralee Kerry. The pharmaceutical packaging company have announced that they will be creating over 100 jobs and we are delighted to be partnering with them to support their recruitment.

Central Pharma is a leading provider in packaging and supply chain services for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies worldwide. The privately owned UK company said that Ireland offers a stable environment post Brexit and is the first big start up since 2012 for the region.

They will be based at IDA Ireland's newly constructed Advanced Technology Building at the Kerry Business Park in Tralee, which shares a 45-hectare campus with the Institute of Technology Tralee.

The STEM faculty at I.T Tralee was one of the major influences in the company’s decision to locate in Kerry along with the hi-tech manufacturing and office building that was recently created by the IDA.

Minister of State Brendan Griffin TD welcomed the announcement saying it would be a huge boost to the economy of the county.

CEO Martin Shanahan said the jobs announcement proved the value of that investment as a tool to boost employment in the regions.

The President of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Aidan Kelly also welcomed the announcement saying “This is a fantastic Christmas present for the people of Tralee. Central Pharma have identified that Tralee is a suitable location from where they will serve their European customer base, while realising the potential that IT Tralee presents while recruiting their workforce. Tralee is an attractive location and is seen as a place that offers an excellent quality of life to those who live and work here. Tralee Chamber Alliance looks forward to collaborating with Central Pharma over the coming months as they begin to familiarise themselves with all that Kerry’s capital has to offer.”
