DevOps and the new technology within DevOps 2022
What is DevOps?
It is ultimately the set of practices that combines Software Development and IT Operations. Its aim is to deliver tools that will increase an industry/company’s ability to produce applications and services at a better velocity. A DevOps Engineer for example works closely with developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones. Overall this leads to increased productivity in the workplace.

What is new in 2022?
Everything in IT moves quickly. Somebody figures out a new, quicker, and better way to improve a process on a daily basis, So what is new in 2022? Everything! DevOps has to continuously evolve to meet the demands of a changing corporate environment and always look to the future.
Kubernetes is a System Software created in 2014 that has developed in time to be one of the most needed requirements companies look for when hiring a DevOps Engineer. It is an open-source container orchestration platform for automating software deployment. It has expanded so much so that it is expected to take center stage through infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scanning.
Another requirement we are seeing clients look out for is GitOps experience which is a Kubernetes-related infrastructure trend that allows developers and IT operators to use Git to manage clusters and deliver efficient, secure applications without misconfigurations. It automates releasing incremental updates, and consistent delivery will enable developers to build, test and deploy software rapidly.
Many companies use different tools within their DevOps team. Tools such as Jenkins, Selenuim, Pupper, Chef, GIT, and Nagios are all used today by companies such as Dell, Accenture, IBM, Oracle, NetApp, and Capgemini among others, But studies show that the best and most used system software is Kubernetes due to its flexibility and lack of fragmentation.
