Laura Murphy has worked in recruitment for more than 15 years. She forged a very successful career in the UK focusing on senior Interim Leadership appointments across local government, health. Education, charities, and housing. Her last 7 years in the UK were spent with a leading executive search firm for Public Sector where she specialized in Senior Interim appointments in the Social Care and Health Setting. Her in depth understanding of Public Sector and its challenges will add valuable resource to working with clients in the Housing and NotforProfit Sector for Specialist appointments.
At the beginning of 2020, Laura returned to Ireland and is now focussing on developing the Executive and Interim Leadership offering at FRS Recruitment. Due to the co-operative nature of FRS Laura feels it aligns perfectly with the clients she will be working with. Laura aspires to build quality relationships across permanent, interim, and Non-Executive professionals in the in the Housing and Charities but also the wider public sector.
Laura will be working with:
- Housing Associations spanning from Tier 1 – Tier 3 associations where she will support and facilitate their needs depending on the requirement
- Social Housing Regulators
- Local Councils where she will support local government in its role of promoting the well-being and quality of life of citizens in their community
- Charities and Not-for-profit Organizations
- The Charities Regulator
Having worked across both permanent and Interim based markets she gains unique access to the best and most diverse candidates, from Chairs and Non-Executives to Chief Executives, Corporate Directors.
She will also use her network to help clients recruit specialist roles such as:
- Development Directors.
- Property and Asset specialists
- Director of Housing
- Operational Director’s across all specialisms
- Director of Fundraising
